The nomination for the Leading Online Entrepreneur of the Year Award was a result of WoodWing's achievements in the field of cross-media publishing solutions.

Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software, one of the innovation drivers in the fields of cross-media and tablet publishing solutions for newspaper, magazine and corporate publishers, was one of five finalists for this year's LOEY Award, a designated industry prize in The Netherlands.

The prize is awarded annually to the Leading Online Entrepreneur of the Year. The jury consists of opinion leaders in media, finance and IT.

Schut was nominated for the achievements of WoodWing Software in the field of cross-media publishing, including publishing to Apple's iPad tablet device. The core of WoodWing´s solutions is its cross-media publishing system Enterprise, which enables publishers worldwide to publish content in print, online, social media and mobile channels – all from within one system with a unified user experience.

WoodWing´s content management application Content Station, an add-on for Enterprise, enables publishers to streamline the publishing process from the first story idea, research, editorial and design to the final output in any channel. Content Station also allows integration of feedback channels from Web sites allowing publishers to monitor how articles are accepted by the readers.
