SDK? Integration? Woodwing Reader?

Did the People Team use a Woodwing SDK to create the People App or did they modify the Woodwing Reader or something else entirely?
This is posted on the Woodwing blog and as such, I am probably not alone in wondering how this App was created... what tools exactly were used and what needed to be coded in addition to what the tools provide.
