The tablet edition is created with WoodWing´s Digital Publishing Tools, leveraging the Digital Publishing Workflow based on WoodWing´s multi-channel publishing system Enterprise – all of which is integrated in the existing editorial environment.

WoodWing releases Enterprise 7.5 – fully integrated with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite

ZAANDAM, The Netherlands (December 8,  2011) The latest version of WoodWing’s multi-channel publishing system Enterprise features a tight integration with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS). The integration enables publishers to take advantage of the workflow benefits offered by Enterprise for the creation of print, tablet and Web editions, while leveraging the Adobe DPS platform to distribute publications to tablet devices. Enterprise 7.5 features a number of other enhancements, in particular of the Content Station multi-channel text editor. Enterprise 7.5 supports the latest version 5.5 of Adobe Creative Suite.

ZAANDAM, The Netherlands (November 2,  2011) The participants in this free event on December 8 in Kuala Lumpur will experience through keynote speeches, presentations and case studies how they can master the challenges of modern multi-channel publishing. They will learn how easy it can be to publish content to any channel, including print, Web, mobile and tablets. One of the highlights will be the presentation by Datuk Mustapa Omar, Group Editor of Harian Metro, the first Malay language daily on the iPad. In addition, attendees will get the latest information about the tablet publishing alliance between WoodWing and Adobe Systems.

WoodWing shows first Integration of Adobe DPS at IFRA Expo 2011

ZAANDAM, The Netherlands (October 11,  2011) A week after the announcement of the tablet publishing alliance between Adobe Systems Inc. and WoodWing Software, a first integration of the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite inside the WoodWing Enterprise workflow is being demoed at IFRA Expo 2011 in Vienna. Visitors can see how Adobe .folio files are created within the WoodWing workflow. WoodWing´s Digital Publishing Tools for InDesign are used to add interactivity, while Content Station is used to export the Adobe .folio file and automatically upload it to the Adobe Distribution Service for download by tablet users. WoodWing expects to have a full integration ready in November 2011.
